The Kent Law School has established a fund to support foreign students from OECD countries pursuing a full-time LLM course at the University of Kent’s Canterbury Campus.

About the award: The Law School has established a major fund to support overseas students from any country that receives Official Development Assistance (ODA) from the OECD, who are pursuing a full-time LLM degree program at the University of Kent’s Canterbury Campus. The list of countries is extensive and among the countries included are Thailand, India, Nigeria, Kenya, Brazil, China, Turkey and many more.
This award provided a stipend of £2,500 to entrants who meet the eligibility conditions below. The scholarship will be provided in one installment in the second term of the program. The University will assess eligibility for the award after an application for entry into the Kent LLM is submitted. No further application for the award is required.

Be classified by the University of Kent as an overseas student for tuition fees purposes Fully self-finance your studies To have applied for an LLM in Kent LLM from the Brussels Center for International Studies for admission in September 2022 or January 2023 To be firmly have accepted an offer of a place on the taught LLM by the scholarship application deadline Apply (details below) before the scholarship application deadline (please note that we cannot accept applicants for the award consider without an application)

Contact us for more information. University of Kent graduates are eligible for the award if they meet the stated conditions. When students are required to continue their studies after their original registration period, the prize will only be provided for that original registration period

This prize may be awarded in conjunction with other prizes and scholarships offered by the University of Kent, except when provided by Kent Law School (in which case only the prize generally offering the greater monetary value will be awarded). Contact us for more information. University of Kent graduates are eligible for the award if they meet the above conditions. Although the Kent LLM is a one-year, full-time program of study requiring students to continue their studies into the second year, the award is only awarded for the first year of study. Successful recipients will be notified by email after their offer to study at Kent LLM has been definitively accepted. The notification takes place in August and September.
