DESCRIPTION

The South African Road Federation offers scholarships to suitably qualified individuals who wish to pursue further education or training in disciplines applicable to the road transport industry.

ELIGIBLE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SARF SCHOLARSHIP

Applicants must meet the following minimum eligibility criteria before applying (please note that if you do not meet all the requirements, your application will not be considered):

Preference is given to residents of South Africa, but members of SADC countries can also apply (the Southern African Development Community (SADC) includes 16 countries, namely: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho , Madagascar, Malawi , Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe) You must study for a qualification within one of the road transport fields listed above You must study at a recognized and accredited tertiary in South Africa (University , University of Technology or equivalent)Your application must be approved by the appropriate academic authority of your selected tertiary institutionNational Diploma students: you must have passed the first semester exams (S1) Diploma students: you must have passed the first year examsPreference is given to those studying at the advanced level (MTech, MSc or above), but undergraduate the students can also apply Preference is given to full-time students but part-time and distance learning students can also applyPreferred employees of members of the SARRFYou must plan to work in the South African road transport sector after graduation

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (submission of these documents is required – missing items may result in your application being disqualified):
