The renowned smartphone brand TECNO launched the latest smartphone in the CAMON series, the Camon 19. The event took place in the historic center, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Several dignitaries from the technology industry, the entertainment industry and even financial stakeholders attended the event. The event kicked off by welcoming dignitaries as the brand’s employees handed out the programs for the event. The beautiful hall, decorated in the brand colours, was inviting and stylishly designed.

The guests took their seats and looked forward to the events of the day. On the high side of their expectations, they hoped to see the recently launched TECNO Camon 19.
Soon the event started. The opening speech was given by Vincent Uzoegbu, the PR manager of TECNO West Africa, who said: “TECNO is the brand of the people. For us, we don’t just make smartphones, we make companions, best friends for our consumers, devices that make their lives easier and help them achieve their goals.”

With its unique Super Night Portrait mode, the recently released Camon 19 phone stands out from its predecessors. The sensor and lens work together to transform low-light portraits into bright, high-contrast and sharp portraits, while also removing visual artifacts (also known as “noise”).

With its first 64MP main camera and a Samsung-developed RGBW sensor/glass lens, the CAMON 19 Pro’s super night camera sets new standards for accurately capturing bright, clear images and portraits in sub-optimal lighting situations. This is achieved by using a sensor system that mimics the focus of a human eye and enables exceptional light processing, along with a glass lens that increases light intake by more than 208 percent and significantly increases image clarity.

TECNO officially launched the phone in Nigeria and did things differently by introducing the masterpiece with a fashion show, drawing similarities between high fashion and technology. The models were all celebrities, beaming as they proudly wore the TECNO Camon 19.
