The most brilliant expertise from Sydney’s prestigious rugby nursery St Joseph’s Faculty was handed the keys to Bond College during their three-day coaching camp.
The scientists, mainly based in Casuarina, were examined yesterday by Bull Sharks energy and conditioning coaches at the Excessive Efficiency Middle in Robina before heading to The Canal for a discipline session.
“The suggestions from gamers about our rugby program and amenities have been unimaginable, we now have incredible amenities here that could be unrivaled in rugby,” said Brenden Jones, the university’s recruiting supervisor for sports activities.
“They had a restoration session in our cold and hot pools that they actually wanted after just a few tough days of coaching.”
St. Joseph’s Faculty along with Matt Burke, Kurtley Beale and Ned Hanigan has produced nearly 60 Wallabies. Bond must help form another star.
“It would be unlikely if we get any kind of gamers from Sydney to come back here and play for us,” Jones said.
“Then it can also start with something that happens often, and we can get extra gamers.”
Their goal was far from rugby, university students were knowledgeable about scholarships and grants and Bond’s private method of training.
“We don’t have overcrowded lecture halls; teachers know students by identifying and knowing where they stand with their educational research.
“If any of the scholars lag behind or find it difficult, it is quickly picked up and we provide assistance through our Bond Elite Sport program,” Jones said.
St Joseph’s gamers learned from Colts a prop Harrison Usher, who is a graduate of the faculty’s predominant rival, The Kings Faculty.
The 20-year-old is a Bond Sports Activities Excellence Scholarship recipient and discovers a double degree: Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Commerce.
“It’s not every day that you come from Sydney to a university like Bond and practice in its unreal facilities. It also gives them the opportunity to know what it’s like to look at the house outdoors,” Usher said.
“My expertise is unreal, I wouldn’t change it. It is now winter and we now have solar energy. The coed expertise is amazing, everyone you meet at Bond is so welcoming and good. Everyone comes from everywhere so you can meet new people and Bond can be very inclusive for all teams. ”
Gamers can request full refund John Eales Rugby Excellence Scholarship from next week.
The coveted scholarship is open to school leavers and adult gamers who are approaching the tip of their rugby profession and are considering a grab program or awards.
“We’re looking for these people to provide expertise and leadership to some of the youthful gamers,” Jones said.
“Last year we gave the scholarship to Zoe Hanna, our first female recipient.”
Registrations close on September 5.
