The applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. If applying for a PhD program, they must have a master’s degree and be under 40 years of age. If they are applying to a master’s program, they must have a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35. If they are applying for a bachelor’s degree, they must have a high school diploma and be under 25 years of age. They must be exceptional in both academic and extracurricular activities. They must not be a recipient or receive any other scholarship offered by any institution, government or organization in China.
