The University of Tasmania (UTAS) is a public studies college, ordinarily positioned in Tasmania, Australia. Founded in 1890, it’s far Australia’s fourth oldest college. Christ College, one of the college’s residential colleges, first proposed in 1840 in Lieutenant-Governor Sir John Franklin’s Legislative Council, became modeled at the Oxford and Cambridge colleges, and became based in 1846, making it the oldest tertiary organization withinside the country. The college is a sandstone college, a member of the global Association of Commonwealth Universities, and the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning.

Eligibility: To be eligible, you must;
- be classified as an International Student as defined under the Application rules of the University of Tasmania
- not be commencing at the University of Tasmania through an articulation agreement with a partner institution (e.g., 2 + 2-degree programs)
- be commencing the first year of their program in 2022 (any study period).
How to Apply: Applicants are assessed automatically for the 2022 Dean of Law’s Merit Scholarship upon submitting their International Student Application; there is no need to apply separately.
