San Francisco: Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable, along with another similar foldable device, Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, on August 10. The company has yet to confirm the launch date for new folding ones. The August 10 date for Samsung’s upcoming launch was previously noted by Jon Prosser. The Galaxy Z Fold 4’s triple camera unit may have a 50MP primary camera. It is accompanied by a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 12 MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom. It looks like the Galaxy Z Fold 4 could inherit the main and ultra-wide snappers from the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus, GizmoChina reports. The leak suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will offer an enhanced photography experience. The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to have a 6.2-inch cover display and a 7.6-inch internal display. Both screens would be shorter and wider than the previous generation, the report said.
The internal display has an on-screen camera, but the configuration has yet to be revealed. Also, there is no information about the front camera of the device. It remains to be seen if it will get the same 10MP front camera and a 4MP camera below the display.
The smartphone can contain a battery of 4,400 mAh. It is expected to support 25W fast charging, wireless and reverse wireless charging. The device does not have a dedicated S Pen storage slot.
