The 9th edition of Visa For Music, the first professional music market for Africa and the Middle East, will take place from November 16 to 19, 2022 in Rabat, Morocco. 30 artists or groups are selected by a qualified jury to perform for music industry professionals from around the world.

Only professional artists and bands with at least one year of activity and stage experience are eligible. Only candidates over the age of 18 will be considered. The closing date for applicants is April 30, 2022 (postmarked date). Only complete files submitted before the deadline will be considered. The material sent must be exempt from customs duties marked “promotional material with no commercial value”. If not, Visa For Music can refuse them. Artists/bands are selected by the Visa For Music selection committee and jury. Visa For Music cannot return materials and documents to applicants. If the band is selected, Visa For Music will apply for the exclusive performance rights within a month and a radius of 200 km in Morocco. Visa For Music gives the place where the showcases take place and the list of the available backline. The organization provides all necessary equipment for bands performances; any element/material not listed must be carried by the band. Band performances may last a maximum of 45 minutes and are intended for music professionals.

Scholarship Value: Fully Funded to Rabat, Morocco. For selected artists, Visa For Music will bear the following costs for a maximum of 8 people:
Hotel costs in double rooms for a maximum of two nights (including breakfast) for international bands and double rooms for a maximum of one night (including breakfast) for national bands. All local transport costs related to the performance. Meals (maximum 3 days) Passes giving access to concerts and all activities for the entire duration of the event. Presence in the official catalog and official website of Visa For Music. For each selected band, Visa For Music will issue one professional pass to one person representing the band.
