INEC CVR Registration Portal, this portal allows you to update your voter registration information, pre-register as a new voter, transfer your voter registration to another polling station, replace your damaged or lost PVC and set up registration centers with you to find nearby.

INEC CVR Registration Exercise is for the following categories of Nigerians:
  • Those who are 18 years and older and have not previously registered.
  • Registered voters who have had issues during previous election accreditation where either their Permanent Voter Card or their fingerprints are not being read by the Smart Card Reader.
  • Registered voters who want to move their voting location from one place to another.
  • Registered voters who want to correct issues with their data, such as misspelled names, dates of birth, etc.
  • Registered voters whose PVCs are lost or damaged.

1. New voter pre-registration;

2. Assessment of voter information;

If you have registered and have not yet verified your information by submitting your photo online on this platform (or at a registration center since June 28, 2021), click the button below to start the process.

3. Find registration centers;

If you would like to visit a registration center to complete your application or registration, centers are available in INEC State and Local Government Offices and many other locations. Click the button below to find the centers closest to you.

Remark:
  • There are two types of registration centers: stationary/fixed centers and mobile centers.
  • There are registration centers in each INEC State Headquarters and INEC Local Government Office. These are stationary.
  • The mobile centers move from one location to another within specific dates and times for each department. Find the dates and times for your location using this site

INEC CVR Registration Online Guidelines:-

For voter card registration, follow the below steps for online voter card registration:-

  • Potential registrants must go online to pre-register using the URL: https://cvr.inec.gov.ng or https://cvr.inecnigeria.org.
  • The registrant first creates an account on the portal with a valid email address to enable him/her to start the pre-registration process.
  • When creating the account, an account activation link will be sent to the email address provided during account registration.
  • Click on the provided link to activate your pre-registration and proceed.
  • Each registrant completes an online form with the relevant and necessary information.
  • After completing the form, the registrant selects an appropriate date and time to visit the registration gallop for biometric recording to complete his/her registration.
  • The registrant clicks on the submit button to complete his/her pre-registration, and upon successful submission, an application slip containing his/her application ID, a QR code and relevant details will be generated.
  • Print your cover letter, which includes an application number, QR code, and other details.
  • Visit a INEC registration canter on the scheduled appointment date with the printed biometric capture application slip.
  • Upon successful completion of your registration, you will receive a registration certificate to collect your Permanent Voter Card (PVC).
