iHatch Startup Incubation Program 2022

iHatch Startup Incubation Program – The National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR) in partnership with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is set to launch iHatch, a startup incubation program aimed at increasing the number of innovation-driven enterprises by Nigerian youth.

The incubation program provides an excellent opportunity for startups with innovative business ideas and a prototype of their products or services.

WHAT IS iHATCH?

Idea Hatch (iHatch) is a free 5-month intensive incubation program organized by the National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR) in partnership with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The program was created to refine the business model of Nigerian entrepreneurs through a series of mentoring, lectures and boot camps to develop scalable business models in Nigeria.

OBJECTIVES;

1). Support entrepreneurs who use creative commercial services and products to tackle societal challenges.

2). Create a model incubation program and extend it to other states in Nigeria.

3). Strengthen the technology ecosystem by focusing support on selected IT sectors.

4). Establish connections between the startups and investors/companies.

5). Increase the number of successful companies to improve labor participation.

WHO CAN APPLY?

1). Individuals/groups with an innovative business plan with a product or prototype that would aid in the development of the Nigerian economy.

2). Individuals/groups willing to set up a legal business and start business in Nigeria.

3). Participants must be at least 18 years old.

4). Sector: All sectors (eg Agritech, Fintech, Healthech etc).

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TRAINING WILL PLACE PHYSICAL PLACE AT THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ROBOTICS IN ABUJA
