Google Inc. is accepting applications from young people around the world for the Kickstart global coding competition, which will take place in 2022.
Kick Start offers programmers from all over the world the opportunity to improve and perfect their programming skills through online competition rounds. The three-hour rounds feature a series of algorithmic challenges created by Google engineers to give you a taste of the technical skills required for a job at Google (top competitors from our Kick Start rounds may be invited to Google for a interview!).
Their rounds take place at different times throughout the year, making them easily accessible to hackers around the world. Each Kick Start round is available to all entrants, there are no pre-qualification requirements, so you can try any or all of the entrants.
Scholarship value
Through online hosted competition rounds, the KS competition enables participants to learn and improve their programming and technical skills. If you express an interest in future career opportunities with Google at the time of registration, a Google recruiter may contact you and you will be offered to apply for a position at Google after the KS competition is completed. If Google contacts participants, it is in Google’s sole discretion to determine who they are. Your performance in the KS Contest determines whether or not you are approached by a Google recruiter. Google has the right to change the entry restrictions depending on the number of participants in the KS Contest. Unless Google agrees otherwise in writing, you may be liable for all travel and expenses associated with attending the interview if you are interviewed by Google. You understand and agree that an interview invitation is not a job offer or contract with Google.
