What are the benefits of a French Government Scholarship?

Eiffel scholarship holders receive a monthly allowance of 1,181 euros, to which are added various services: international transport, national transport, insurance, housing search, cultural activities, etc.

Eiffel grant holders receive a monthly allowance of 1,700 euros, to which are added various services:: international transport, national transport, insurance, housing search, cultural activities, etc.

For both parts of the program, tuition fees are not covered by the Eiffel programme.

Duration of the fair

The duration of the scholarship depends on the length of the master’s degree programmes. The duration of the scholarship can be 12 to 36 months. Because a scholarship is awarded for up to 36 months for the completion of an engineering degree.

At the doctoral level, the Eiffel scholarship is awarded for a period of 12 months in France.

First step

second step

The institution accepts and supports your application for the Eiffel scholarship.

The institution submits your application online via the dedicated Campus France website.

Applications sent directly by students or by foreign institutions will be declared inadmissible.


Applications are open from the end of September 27 to January 7 every year. Results will be published the week of April 4.
