The Public Service Internship Program (PSIP) is a government initiative designed to provide graduates with the opportunity to acquire and develop valuable technical and professional skills, as well as work experience in the public service.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) welcomes the public’s recruitment of 3,000 . to announce
interns (Cohort 5) under PSIP for fiscal year 2022/2023.

Internship
Who can apply?
To be appointed for an internship position, a candidate must:
Have a bachelor’s degree in a discipline from a recognized university; have not graduated before the year 2017; and be proficient in computer skills.
Internship tasks and responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to;
i. Carrying out mutually agreed and assigned duties by the supervisors;
ii. Documenting relevant skills acquired in their field of use; and
iii. Actively participate in all relevant mentoring activities and additional responsibilities designed for the program.

What is the advantage of an internship?

The interns receive a stipend at a rate as determined by the Public Service Commission.
Certificate
Upon successful completion of the Internship Programme, the interns will receive a certificate.
How long does the program last?
Twelve (12) months- Non-renewable
